ordered : wild mushroom risotto ($21), salted egg chicken linguine ($17), truffle fries ($11), fortune tikki cocktail ($24) and honey pot cocktail ($24) not pictured! have heard raving reviews about hopscotch's cocktails, and gotta admit they dont disappoint!
honey pot was more on the sweet side, with a pleasant blend of gin, kyoho liqueur and bubblegum liqueur, topped with a honey lollipop, as compared to fortune tikki which tasted abit like an atas chin chow imo, stronger on the alcohol.
they were SO GENEROUS with the truffle fries which remained crispy the whole duration, and the whole plate was full and well topped with parmesan, overall an immaculate dish! felt that the truffle mayo was unnecessary as it was so flavourful by itself. worth the $11!
for mains, as someone that does not like mushrooms, im ashamed to say i devoured every bit of the risotto.... creamy and al dente with strong mushroom flavours, this dish someone tasted way better than other stores that served this too at a higher price point! something i didnt enjoy was the black fungus, but beyond that the wild mushrooms were tasty! salted egg linguine somehow had that "wok hey", despite not being fried in a wok, and the sauce was not overpowering and coated every stand of linguine nicely.
first, and definitely not my last time here!
