In between the 2 sponge layers was a thin layer of raspberry jam.
The cream was light and buttery, but i felt that the entire cake lacked a certain wow factor and was rather ordinary.
The Rose/Pistachio taste did not stand out and was not as distinct and strong as i would have liked. I would've liked if the taste was infused into the cream or cake layers rather than just the flavours coming from the toppings itself.
