Intricately layered and decked to a berry tall albeit elegant ‘tower’, this dessert was my favourite among all we tried the other day, winning in terms of both visuals and palatability. “Looks better than it taste” or “Taste better than it looks”? Neither! As this was a “looks as good as it taste”! 💖 Comprising of a base of frozen vanilla cheesecake sandwiched between two 10cm raspberry macaroon shells, this comes with alternating layers of fresh cream, with fresh strawberries and petite mochi doughnuts adhered to it, along with berry sauce drizzled over and a raspberry macaroon decked atop! Tuck further in to reveal an inner surprise of raspberry sorbet embedded within, that’s tangy, refreshing with a zesty note! Texture was smooth, light and slightly icy as well. The frozen vanilla cheesecake had a texture resembling that of an ice cream, with a subtle vanilla fragrance that was a complementary pairing to the crisp macaroon shells. Along with fresh, juicy strawberries and chewy mochi donuts, all elements present here was indeed a harmonious combination that worked wonders for my palate! 😋😋
