I got an espresso doppio (100 baht), they're serving #JourneyEspressoBlend using #Synesso machine.
It was med-light body, fruity (peachy?) & flowery. Got lingering burnt wood/tea aroma much like genmai tea. Especially funky when I had ice water after the espresso, the water tasted like genmai tea lol. They served powdery Thai raw cane sugar on the side. Interesting, but I didn't put it in.
Kind of worth the walk considering I haven't had decent coffee in fucking days. Wish I had time to hop more... Thong Lor seems to be a coffee district, even the pop-up stands have decent home barista kits.
