Around March, I noticed a stall called Penang Signature opened and they only sell 1 item!! Assam Laksa. I always gave it a miss because I didn't phil like having Assam Laksa when I was at the food centre. Last night however, I was thinking of Assam Laksa! So I went to get it.

I noticed that they only have sell their laksa using disposable paper bowls. I said I'm bringing it home to eat, the guy asked if I want the noodles separated. Yes please!

The verdict: It's almost like eating the Assam Laksa in Penang! The gravy is quite tangy and has the viscosity of the stall I like at Lorong Selamat in Penang. The noodles are of a very chewy type. The fish don't come in big chunks like in Penang but it's only $3.50 and it's in Singapore, so can't complain.
I seldom see a queue, probably it's because people need mood to eat Penang Laksa like me. Hope they will stay open! All the best!
