I'm a sucker for all things fluffy, so I just had to try this. Since it's a chilled cake, I wasn't expecting this to be as pillowy as freshly baked ones. It was still considerably fluffy though and like most of the cakes here, the Hokkaido cream and vanilla custard filling were both light and not too sweet.

If I had to pick between this and the Double Fantasy (pretty much the same filling but encased in a choux), I would probably choose this (or the Cream Chiffon or the Pureté Uji Matcha Ice Cream) instead. Oh, Chateraise! 😂
