It’s common knowledge that @dintaifungsg serves some of the best handmade dumplings around. In spite of the fact that they are a global chain of restaurants, they manage to maintain their quality and high standards. Which I discovered to my surprise this afternoon, is something that extends beyond the walls of their restaurants. Because even the batch of frozen “Tianjin Cabbage and Pork Dumplings” I received from them, turned out to be extremely delicious. With silky-soft skin and the appetising filling, the dumplings tasted as fresh as if I were enjoying them right on the premises of a Din Tai Fung restaurant.
It helped that the accompanying instructions were straightforward - I just had to drop them in boiling water with a tiny bit of oil (to prevent them from sticking) for 7 to 8 minutes, then pour on the lip-smacking garlicky and tangy “Fragrant Spicy Sesame Sauce” served on the side.
I am definitely ordering more of these dumplings because everyone at home loved them.
