Finally no snaking queue on a Saturday evening, mum postulated because it’s the school holidays and many families may be travelling.
Fortunately she then gets to try one of her favourite cuisines in our hood. There are not many Korean food establishments around Singapore serving our favourite Jokbal, unless you make your way to the Tanjong Pagar/ (maybe) Bukit Timah Korean enclaves, so we were delighted when we could find it here. The sweetened marinate and slow cooked trotter was good and i wish there was more “collagen”.
The highlight however was the crisp thin pancakes here that are pleasant unctuous mouthfuls with each bite. Maybe many other Korean restaurants around could sought tutelage from here to serve real Korean jeons.
Boy is mum glad we have good Korean food in the neighbourhood now.
