Slipped disc or not, I am always on the lookout for interesting food to eat. So whilst at Wisma Atria today for my therapy session at the chiropractor, I spotted Samurice, a new onigiri takeaway counter in the basement. Bought three flavours to try: ikura ($5), cooked salmon flakes with sea salt and mentaiko ($3 each).
As usual, anything with mentaiko doesn't disappoint but I enjoyed the ikura one most - sure, it's pricier but there's a lot of fish roe packed into the triangle of rice. And although I didn't mind the salmon flakes, it might be a tad strong for those who are sensitive to the fishiness of cooked salmon.
