Jidai Restaurant has launched the 8-course omakase ($88) that showcases a seafood spread without you needing to break the bank.

You will start off with the Chile uni with caviar wrapped in a thin crepe, served with a deep sea crab miso before the sashimi course of botan ebi and sea bream. The dining experience proceeded with the ponzu marinated sea whelk with a fermented mushroom dip before the poached engawa dish. The highlight for me was the A5 wagyu paired with the boiling onion beef dashi that lightly cooks the beef slices but still retaining the texture.

The main was a miso atlantic cod served with a caviar cream before two desserts of mini cone and champagne gelato that comes with sake jello.
