Now this is a plate that I enjoy. I won't compare this with the nasi lemak specialists all around the island, but it could withstand most competition with enough coconut fragrance in its rice. Rice isn't light, isn't fluffy, but I like that it's well coated with coconut milk.

This plate of nasi lemak is paired with curry chicken ($18++ including the nasi lemak) or beef rendang ($20++), together with achar, ikan bills, peanuts, and a nicely fried whole egg. I like the beef rendang too, which should have been slow cooked since the fragrance of all the spices and coconut milk is evident within the meat.

I would come back again for this, definitely. Given that there's 50% off with Amex Platinum cards, $10++ for this plate of nasi lemak (with beef rendang!) in such an environment is a steal.
