I didn't have a good start to my Vietnam trip after being ripped off by that taxi driver (May you burn in hell!), my tour guides were in rude shock when they found our I paid 45sgd, leant my lesson to go for 2 taxi reliable companies. Am now suffering from street food coma after my 9-hr street food bike tour. Food has been amazing, but I equally enjoyed sitting at the back of the bike and soaking in the moments (and smog), seeing the city go by right before my eye and the local way of life. I think I've leant more about Vietnam through the tour guides themselves - they earn a miserable 200usd but it's considered good money in Vietnam already. My tour guide even holds 2 jobs (the other being a hotel receptionist) just to support his family.
