We had an omakase at this relatively unknown gem at Chai Chee, and I must say the value of what we had were awesome for the price. Advanced order for the omakase is required as Chef Fabio needs to source for the ingredients to prepare this omakase. This was what we had:

1. Oyster shooter
2. Raw squid and okra with mentaiko
3. Cold poached egg with tako wasabi and ikura
4. Sashimi - botan ebi, otoro, chutoro and kanpachi.
5. Deep-fried botan ebi head
6. Tempura (natto and tai) with mentaiko mayo
7. Crab and foie gras
8. Shiso-marinated lamb rack with burdock root crisps, edamame and potato salad
9. Sanbo Rice - with uni, ikura and negitoro (my favourite! Individual review to follow)
10. Somen with chives
11. Japanese musk melon - half original, half whiskey-soaked

Seems like other items here are also very attractively priced. I'll be next to try their 6-piece premium sushi set at $28.
