๐Ÿ˜‰ As part of the Christmas offerings, @starbuckssg has came up with a new creation: Dark mocha frappe with GREEN TEA WHIPPED CREAM ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š. Since Iโ€™m not a coffee drinker (and will avoid it due to the aftermath of insomnia cum headache) but was tempted by the green tea infused whipped cream, I decided to change the base of the beverage to matcha soy frappe. Requested for 2x the matcha powder too, being a hardcore matchaholic ๐Ÿ˜‚. Had initially opted for no sugar and syrup but was told that it was not possible for this request to achieve the creamy, thick texture in an ice blended beverage. Hence I had to make do with LESS sugar/syrup but it was unfortunately still too sweet for my liking that I had to dilute it by myself by adding my own ice cubes ๐Ÿ˜…. However, having 2x the matcha shot, the characteristic earthy undertone of matcha was no doubt more distinct. The whipped cream was light, airy with a subtle lingering earthy fragrance too. The texture of the frappe could have been thicker though, with perhaps a reduction in syrup added. The whipped cream had a pretty short lifespan as well (swipe to view) hence highly recommended to consume it in silo (prior to drinking) or if not, let it mix along with the frappe .
