先月ダンジョンパガーのインターナショナルプラザの @nexuscoffeesg というコーヒースタンドに立ち寄った時に、もう一箇所朝から賑わっていて気になっていたのがAlchemistでした。

そんなAlchemistの4店舗目がデザインオーチャードに新しくオープンしたと聞いて、息子の歯医者からすぐ近くだったので寄ってみることに。

急なお誘いにも関わらず@banbi4649 さんもご一緒してくれて楽しい時間に。

デザインオーチャードはサマセット近くH&Mの向かいにあり、Alchemistはデザインオーチャードの3階、The Cocoon Spaceにある階段を登ったところにあります。(写真10)

コロナの影響もあるかもしれませんが、オーチャードロードに面していながら、一本裏の道に来たかのような空気感と開放感が一瞬で気に入りました。

エスプレッソはナッツ系のDark MatterとフルーティーなHambelから選べたので、Dark Matterのアイスを。

酸味も苦味も強くなくバランスが良くて美味しかったです。

またこちらからお願いした訳ではないのに、息子用にサッとベビーチーノもサービスしてくれてほっこり。

先日紹介したGlyphのように、オーチャードでは珍しいインディーズコーヒーの穴場カフェになりそうです。
