What immediately catches the eye is the perfect proportions of their burgers - not obstrusively-sized ones with the dimensions of a pandan cake, which usually results in a toppled, sorry mess. No, the burgers here are flatter and wider - bun, double patties, onions, lettuce and bread in an orderly fashion. The Oscar goes to the coarsely-ground patties, which packed a surprisingly strong punch without the trademark greasiness of its American counterpart. Also nominated are the raw circles of onions - for which I, not P, now have a newfound respect for - which added a new tangy, sweet dimension to it.
