Growing up in a Hokkien family, tang yuen is my family's comfort food. Be it a way to end our meal with something sweet or something to wash down our big chinese dinner, we never say no to tang yuen despite how full we are. The sweet soup is served piping hot with a lovely strong kick of ginger in it. I especially love the tang yuen here because the glutinous rice balls are huge and they are very generous with their filling. With the slightest touch, the fillings will ooze out. I would recommend you to pair your tang yuen with their peanut mochi cause you can't have enough mochi!!!
