I was blown away by my experience at Cherki on 11 Jun.

I used the Burpple Beyond promotion to get the following mains (black nut linguine, herb crusted snapper, baba back ribs, and beef Wellington). Summarily, the beef Wellington was amazing, the linguine could do with a stronger candle nut taste, and the ribs and snapper were above average albeit a little on the smaller side.

The cocktails were the highlight of the dinner. We started off with a couple of cocktails from the menu, all of them were amazing. Having the flavour profiles of each drink listed below was definitely a nice touch!

We followed it up with a bespoke cocktail each. That was when we started to have our minds blown. Being in a Peranakan fusion restaurant, I requested for a candle nut cocktail and what was served blew my mind - the owner of the restaurant came up with a beef Wellington inspired savoury dessert cocktail with buah keluak, chocolate, rum, etc. Mixed into dry ice for a slushie-like consistency. It was then served in a puff pastry bowl with a bakwa garnish. Nothing short of mindblowing tbh.

If you enjoy unique / funky cocktails, definitely come here to challenge the bartenders.
