Thanks to Cheng and Astley for inviting us over to try out their new menu. .
We ordered a Half Pound Burger ($22) which was a succulent and savoury 220gm Angus Beef that balanced out well with the sweet honey bacon, beetroot, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and lastly their very own special beetroot sauce. The burger was topped with a charcoal bun which had a really sweet taste. We also enjoyed the truffle fries that came with a unique butter sauce and also the refreshing salad. π
.
The next dish was the Aglio Olio Spaghetti ($10) with prawns (+$6). The prawns were fresh and crunchy and the spiciness of the spaghetti was just nice for me too. If you donβt fancy prawns, you can choose to have either chicken or vegs instead! (+$4)π
.
Crispy Wild Mushroom ($12) was the bomb! Itβs had a crispy coating on the outside but mushrooms inside remained juicy and soft. The Mushroom Soup ($10) was smooth and creamy and came with bite-sized croutons. Would recommend the soup for sharing as the serving was a little too much for one. π .
Lastly, the Chocolate Molten Lava ($14) was served with strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We loved the warm molten chocolate lava that came oozing out when we cut into it π«π¦
