Think smoked salmon eggs benedict with the muffin base replaced with a giant buckwheat pancake, topped with fried kale and ikura. While I loved the runny yolk, creamy hollandaise and fluffy pancake, I felt that this dish was created purely for the 'gram and novelty without harmony between components.

Personally, runny yolk with pancakes is already a poor combination as they're both soft; the fried kale wasn't crispy enough to provide a pleasing crunch too. The pops of saltiness from ikura were refreshing, but it doesn't gel together nicely with the rest of the ingredients (the first thing I thought of was sushi 😂). Perhaps I'm still one who prefers the classic eggs on toast/muffins and ikura on rice.
