The homemade noodles were good - firm, having a good bite and taste. Plus, it looks really wavy and pretty. I liked the addition of fried shallot and pork lard, a must have in any local noodle dish. The braised pork was well spiced, tender and the fats melt in your mouth. Very slow cooker home cooked feel to it. I loved the huge piece of fried wanton skin! The turnip soup that comes with this was peppery and good! Although I was put off initially by the price of $12.90 nett, overall, I thought this was a rather well thought out and executed dish that justifies the price. Definitely will return to try other stuff!
