Since time immemorial people have fought; World War 1, World War 2, North Korea vs South Korea... some have concluded while others rage on till this very day. But there is one conflict that has stood the test of time, KOI vs Gong Cha.

Like many people out there in Singapore I take my bubble tea seriously and have been a die hard fan of Gong Cha since day 1. You could imagine the heartbreak when Gong Cha left the market some time last year. There was a milk tea void which couldn't be filled in me and though I occasionally dabbled in other franchises like Koi and LiHo, it just wasn't the same.

But Gong Cha is back in SG again and they are better than ever. Although the prices have increased for most drinks (20 cent increase minimum) it's still quite affordable where a normal medium milk tea costs about $2.80 where it previously was $2.60. My personal favourite is the Oolong Milk Tea at 30% sugar because it doesn't taste overly milky while still having some sweetness too it without it being overwhelming!
