It was during lunar new year when we visited this heartland cafe. Tried their chicken chop since it was highly recommended on the menu and I got to say it was a good chicken chop that is affordably priced.

Instead of the usual fries, the meat comes together with mash and brown gravy. Vegetables such as carrots and mushrooms were also given together with the chicken chop. The chicken was pan fried just right : golden brown with no charred or overcooked portions.

Definitely a rare gem within the western heartlands that I will go back to again for a decent meal and a cup of coffee.
