Located at Blk 498 Jurong West Street 41, Creamology is a new ice-cream parlour in the quiet neighbourhood few doors away from the coffeeshop that houses the famed Latiffa Huri Nasi Lemak. Items here include small bites like Apple-filled Crepes, Churros and Mini Pancake Bites, while you can opt for ice-cream with Red Velvet Waffles (with cream cheese), Charcoal Waffles (with salted egg yolk sauce) and plain waffles as well as Walnut Brownie and Molten Lava Cake. Opted for the Dark Chocolate Molten Lava Cake which has a moist core that is oh-so-chocolatey being thick and gloopy in consistency, while I went for the Vanilla Fruit Cake ice-cream which was quite decent on first taste; aromatic vanilla scent with chunks of candied fruits within, accompanied with a light hint of alcohol reminiscent in Christmas fruit cakes which somehow disappears after a few more spoonfuls, mostly overwhelmed by the vanilla. Also had given the Creme Brûlée with Figs a try, which tasted pretty custardy with burnt sugar crystals within that was actually quite decent. A welcomed addition to this neighbourhood devoid of hipster hangouts.
