Was cautiously optimistic of the hype surrounding @burntends.bakery_sg's 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀 ($24/half doz) because of milo's inherent cloyingness. I have to admit that these exceeded milo expectations.

Lusciously thick and luxuriously loaded with malty flavours, the milo cream was as decadent as decadence comes. If you're also scared they'd taste like diabeetus, donut worry. It's still mildly cloying but not unreasonably so.

I'd argue original mixed variants were still better and truly the bomb...oloni. But these are proof that local flavours can be more than just half-baked gimmicks at the hands of talented chefs. Definitely need to try the new pandan flavour they are coming out with.
