I don’t usually strive towards Cantonese or Teochew cuisine but I truly did enjoy the food served at East Bistro @ MyVillage.

Helmed by Chef Tony Wong who used to spearhead Michelin starred restaurant Lei Garden, you can be assured you’ll have a great dining experience at East Bistro. Maybe even as a consideration for Chinese New Year!

First up, I’ve got to try their Sweet and Sour Pork on Ice and it was interesting as it didn’t have a lot of the game-y taste but more of its sauce flavoured batter.

The Steamed Garoupa in HK style was nothing short of flavour, as the fish was fresh. .
Of course, no meal is complete without desserts as I personally loved the Sesame Balls which are actually hollow inside, and when you bite into it you get a warm and crispy but chewy skin too! It is uniquely prepared and can only be found at East Bistro.
