[Malacca] Felt like the place was only worth a visit because of the stunning Perenakan ambience. Food was lacklustre with a watery consistency to the Assam fish and chicken curry, only the Beef Rendang tasted good. Ngo Hiong was decent but forgettable. I'll compliment the stir-fry vegetables for still retaining its crunch yet full of flavor from the strong sauce, that according to my aunts are often used in nyonya dishes.
The dessert was very affordable and a good end to the meal. But I have to repeat the place is beautiful! Felt like I was (or was I really?) on the little nyonya (channel 8 drama) set!
