The cream cheese foam oolong tieguanying tea was quite good with its hint of sweetness and somewhat fruity aftertaste. The cream cheese gave the drank another layer of dimension with its varied texture and slightly savoury taste so the drink didn’t taste flat. We also got tapioca pearls with this drink and it was really bouncy and the right amount of chewy. Do remember that the syrup in tapioca pearls is sweet so I would advice people trying this drink to get the less sweet option. The star however is the black tea with panna cotta. The strong tea taste goes really well with the silky smooth panna cotta, which was really creamy and it wasn’t overtly sweet. There were hints of caramel notes and it also gives the drink more dimension and it was really good because they compliment each other so well!! We used the burpple beyond 1-1 deal and a bonus point is that we could keep the super cute bottle! Jaychou and Janice approved!! 😋😋
