Residing in Hong Kong the past year has truly spoilt my taste for these egg curd pastries, and only a few are able to measure up now.
Thankfully, I've found these from Tong Heng. Their soft creme brulee like curds are encased in the Cantonese-style crusty, yet slightly flaky savoury pastry shell. Everyone one in the family from grandparents to grandkids loved it.
If you're here, try their Char Siew Sou, it's pretty good too.
