Enjoyed the Thai food here at this Thai restaurant near Marymount MRT station! It’s somewhat of a hidden gem. I had the olive fried rice, tom yum soup and fish cakes. It was all good, exactly what I would expect and not too painfully salty. The prices are also pretty reasonable, the atmosphere feels almost like you’re not in Singapore (it doesn’t have that commercialised, ubiquitous, modern look). It just looks like a spacious, family owned Thai place with lots of crookedly framed photographs of famous Thai people. Also - I think Thai food tastes different in different parts of the world. I’m convinced there’s authentic Thai food, Thai food catered to Singaporean tastebuds, New Zealand Thai food, and so on and so forth.
