Taiwanese Bubble Tea Chain JLD Dragon has officially opens its first Singapore outlet at Waterway Point and will open their 2nd outlet next week at The Star Vista.

JLD Dragon is notable for bring the only bubble tea brand that utilises 1646 Traditional Okinawa Brown Sugar, aka Kokuto that is apparently a healthier sugar option. Their signature drink is Brown Sugar Milk with Tapioca Boba which is crafted in a precise “golden ratio” and topped with luscious whipped cream and crème fraiche. Personally found the taste to be flavourful but not overly sweet, while the bobas were super soft and chewy! Other drinks i’d recommend are the Green Tea with Yakult and Alishan Green Tea Milk Foam.
