Seng Kee Bak Kut Teh was effortlessly crowned as one of the crowd favourites of the day during our #BurppleAMKHawkers explore trail! The addictive herbal-y and lightly peppered base made it so easy to slurp down even though it was a terribly hot day. That said though, if you’re one for heavily peppered soup, this might not be for you.
Apart from the claypot BKT ($12) and its tender ribs which lent sweetness to the broth, you’ll be pampered with choices of sides, from braised pig trotters ($5), salted vegetables, beancurd and the freaking tasty steamed white rabbit fish (3 for $12). It’s SO good dipped in that unassuming saucer of Teo Chew bean sauce! Super shiok! You can also get their non-claypot BKT from $5.
