More Reviews of good food at Don Pie (One Raffles Place)

This is just char siew siew yok rice redefined as a don so it can be sold at a premium.
Honestly not as good as most hawker stalls.

Ordered this under mealpal and didn't expect it to be Don, the place where I use to get my chicken pies. I certainly recognise their efforts to diversify, and the roast pork is also baked in-house. However it didn't quite hit the spot for its meats, the very raw egg..... The Chili is good ofc. (~$8, got this at the OUE downtown outlet)

Chicken Pie ($21.90/ family size)
Measuring nearly 9 inches in diameter, Don's Chicken Pie is filled with huge chunks of chicken, steamed potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, peas and corns. What makes this pie really irresistible is the hardboiled eggs prominently placed just under the top-crust. Garnished moderately with peppercorns and a slight hint of garlic, you’d never look at the chicken pie the same way again.
Buttery crust with chunky and meaty filling. So filling for breakie.
