Brown rice, topped with chunky, creamy chicken masala and greens. Similar to the baos, this is a generous portion more than sufficient for one. Would even say it lies on the heavier side, though that drizzle of salsa verde does help lift the flavours.
A great takeaway lunch option in bugis! 👍🏻 Generous portion of chicken masala that's seasoned perfectly, not too salty & super yummy! Paired w refreshing slaw & zesty salsa w/ a base of well-cooked soft brown rice. Will definitely go for this if I'm looking for a heavy, hearty lunch!
A new stall in Bugis Junction’s basement, BAOBAO has some pretty straightforward offerings that’s simple yet satisfying at the same time.
Their rice bowl sees brown rice topped off with pulled pork, beef bulgogi or what we had; the chicken masala bowl. Generous with the chunks of chicken meat, the masala was just spicy enough mixed into the rice and shredded lettuce. Do yourself a favour and get a side of their kimchi coleslaw ($3)! Spicy, tangy and a great partner to either their rice bowls or baos!
