In this heaven for meat lovers, I would recommend the āTokusen Tanā (thick cut Australian beef tongue) over the thin āTanā. Although the delicate slices of the latter cost $10++ less per plate and to be honest, they did taste good, chewing on them didnāt quite deliver the same rich, juicy and velvety mouthfeel as the more substantial version.
Orrr the english translation is āBest cut of OX tongueā. And if Iām ever back here, this is what Iāll order!
Sooooo good! Just grill it for a short while and pop it. The texture is just amazing; firm, smooth, fatty and shioook. Aināt cheap, but guess you gotta treat yoself once in a while.
Hello there Rosu š, we meet again!
Back at my favourite yakiniku place in Singapore! Brought a Japanese colleague over to try out this place! (However I reckon he might have tried it in Tokyo). Ordered the usual Curry Rice, Tokusei Reimen, Tokusen Tan - Shio (Ox Tongue), Yazawa Salad. Can't really recall which part of the meat did we ordered but it should be rosu & harami.
The food did not disappoint. It was still as yummy as it was! A small 12 tables restaurant, the seats are easily fully booked! Do reserve few days in advance to avoid any dismay. The price may be hefty but they serve the best cut of beef!
The only exotic meat that I'll eat! Melts in the mouth. Don't have to say much. Just get your ass here to taste the best tasting beef! Loving it with every bite š
one of my favourite... š
