Crabmeat Aglio Olio

$19.00 · 5 Reviews

3.5 munchies: Firm, slightly chewy linguine cooked to al dente perfection; tossed with sautéed garlic, olive oil, fresh herbs, coriander, and spring onion. I’d highly recommend all the spice kings and queens to request for extra spicy because there was hardly any heat from the pasta – albeit well-cooked and packed with great flavours. There was also a good amount of plump, salty crab meat to complement the springy and garlicky noodles. Unfortunately, I left the cafe still feeling hungry because the portion ($19) was simply too small!

Set within lush Bishan Park, this casual chic restaurant turns out smart plates, and the garden setting makes for an atmospheric day out with your dog. Pop by after a morning frolick in the park, pull up a seat at the alfresco dining area and feast on hearty brunch plates like Corned Beef Hash ($12), Buttermilk Pancake ($10) and Serrano Ham Sandwiches ($15). Burppler Shawn Loh loves the Crabmeat Aglio Olio ($19) — if you're a chilli fiend like him, ask for extra spicy only if you can take the serious heat. Pro tip: The spacious alfresco area is surrounded by bushes — great for curious pets but humans should pile on the insect repellant.
Avg Price: $25 per person

This was not bad. The mushroom soup was really thick and nice. The pasta was spicy with Al dente pasta and sufficient crab meat. :)
