The stash of plum powder in the middle added a nice salty counterpoint to the natural sweetness of the cherry tomatoes and homemade sweetened milk sauce. If only shaved milk ice were used in this dessert – the milkier, the better!

Desserts can be kept healthier with this Cherry Tomato Bingsu! The sweet cherry tomatoes burst with juices as I bit into them and went really well with the fine sweetened milk shaved ice. That is not all — hidden within the shaved ice is plum powder which introduced a little salty-ness and made the bingsu taste more fascinating!
Interestingly addictive Korean shaved ice with sweetened milk sauce. You wouldn't expect tomatoes in a bingsu, but somehow the flavour of plum powder just brings everything together. And look at all those tomatoes… it can only mean one thing… this dessert is healthy!!! So you can eat more without any guilt. Or at least just tell yourself that. ;)
This new café has wifi, power plugs, coffee and desserts—which means this is definitely not my last time to visit. 🤓
