Giardiniera

Asparagus, butternut squash, mushrooms, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, olives, passata, mozzarella and garlic oil. A recommended vegetarian option with a blend of flavours which make it an interesting dance altogether in your mouth.

Available exclusively to the Scottโ€™s Square outlet for the month of July, this seasonal pizza adds on to the list of vegetarian options, with your choice of thick or thin crust. We opted for the latter whereby the pizza was baked to a crisp perfection on its edges (freshly baked and hence a longer waiting time is required) with a thin, soft and doughy interior. Topped with meatless Quorn minced โ€˜beefโ€™, the texture of it resembled greatly that of an actual minced meat indeed though differing greatly in terms of flavour. Along with the pleasant crunch from sliced (and diced) red onions, red Chilli, jalapeรฑos which also added a tangy note, the pizza comes with a base of homemade rendang sauce (instead of the usual tomato), garnished with parsley and coriander. The fragrance of rendang was prominent, with a distinctive and lingering aroma lacking in terms of spiciness. Indeed, a pizza full of spices - not so for the fiery factor but fragrance! ๐Ÿ’– On a sidenote, the remarkable service here certainly made my dining experience a pleasant and enjoyable one despite the fact that there was some prior miscommunication and hence we were unable to redeem the eatigo discount for this seasonal special pizza. Kudos to the friendly and attentive staff! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป .

Garganelli Giardin - you get that lovely mix of capsicum, pumpkin, asparagus, mushroom...just in a mood for something vegetarian.

Taste is a little light...bringing out the natural flavour of all the vegetables. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Giardiniera ($18++) was all vegetarian but so tasty. The pizza is pretty large (only one size available) but because it's a thin-crust, it isn't that filling. Great for sharing or on your own.

Based on this alone, I'd return to this place. Based on the lousy/average pasta my friends had, & the fact that they forgot to key in our dessert order & kept us waiting...... Well, you draw your own conclusions.
