The salty potato chip-like fries were as noisily crisp as mama shop keropok, whilst elsewhere the spicy and succulent crab dip had a refreshing Tilda Swindon-esque shock of ice-queen frostiness. 4.1/5

Located at the top of Odeon Tower, this spacious rooftop bar is the perfect place for you and your colleagues to loosen up after work. Come for the Happy Hour deals (house pours start from $5 at 5pm to 5.59pm) and stay for the crowd favourite Chilli Crab Cheese Fries ($14). First fried to a glistening golden brown, Loof's inch-thick potatoes slices are blanketed in a layer of cheddar cheese and then smothered with a generous scoop of moreish chili crab sauce — it is practically all Sri Lankan crabmeat. Wash the messy, cheesy and spicy combo down with The Gummiberry ($22 for two shots) that comes with a meringue on the top!
