Usually in cafes, there are hits and misses, but I have to say, Iβm pretty happy with the food I had here! Would highly recommend the beef cheeks and Kurobuta Pork Chop (dinner menu)! Itβs a small cafe, so remember to reserve before coming:)

Good sized portion, food was pretty decent for the prize and overall good experience here. It is a little cramped (approx 28-seater) but hey, they're on grabfood too!
Enjoyed the mashed potato with the sauce. Beef cheek was tender and almost melt in your mouth.
Located under a HDB flat along Sim's place, this 28-seater makes a quiet nook to spend relaxing afternoons. Coffee's smooth and a good deal at just $4.80 for a latte. On food, count on the kitchen to dole out unpretentious fare β favourites include the fork-tender Beef Cheek ($16.90) and a generously portioned Chilli Crab Pasta ($14.90).

** Finally visited this place after eyeing it for couple of months since itβs around my apartment. We ordered carbonara and beef cheeks, both recommended by the waitress. The carbonara was creamy with small chunks of bacon in each bite while the beef cheek was tender and goes pretty well with the mash potato. Not too bad for a neighborhood cafe.

A dish we fail to resist every time is this plate of forking tender beef cheek! Braised for 24hrs, it pulls apart gently, ready to slide down your throat. Lying on a bed of mashed potatoes and root vegetables, I particularly like the soft chunks of radish thatβs great with the beefy brown sauce. π
A piece of fish fillet marinated with nicely flavour herbed :) is really crispy π

Taste: 4/5, is a new dish compare to the wagyu beef burger. You can select your sides.

Hidden in a quiet corner underneath a HDB block just minutes away from Aljunied MRT, Builders @ Sims serves up incredible food at even more incredible prices. Their Truffles Fries (picture not shown) served with a garlic aioli are definitely a must try when you head down! Their Beef main (picture above) was generously portioned and was to die for! The sous vide beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly paired with creamy mashed potato. Will definitely be back for more to try out the rest of their menu!
