DeRaza Iberico Pork Chop

$36.00 · 3 Reviews

FYR Cycene Ond Drinc (no, I didn't spill my drink on the keyboard. It's pronounced as Fire Kitchen and Drink) has launched a new menu, which highlights modern European grills with Southeast Asian spices.

One of my favourite grills of the night is their signature DeRaza Iberico Pork Chop. There was a slight char that gives a nice grit, which I love in my BBQ meats. (I can play tic-tac-toe on those grill marks.) The pork was cooked perfect throughout with the sweeter bits nearer the bone and a wonderful glaze coat. It comes with a tangy house salad.

Thank you @fyr.sg and @burpple for the great night of great food!

Last night's whole Maine Lobster with Shallot Lemongrass Béchainel. Love the sauce on top but the lobster meat is slightly overcooked. Probably because it isnt live. At the top is DeRaza Iberico Pork Chop with truffle sauce. The meat is indeed charred well under Fire and the succulent tender is retained.

We also ordered their Ribeye Steak in medium which is well fired with the right char and the spiced deboned red snapper with Sambal Belacan chilli.
All the food tasted good and of cos the meat mains like pork chop and steaks were their better ones. We ordered scallops and foie gras and was so close to ordering the rest of the small plates.
Desserts were unique but a tad too sweet.
For a good ambience for parties and drinks nights, this place certainly serves good food. Just make sure u know how to pronounce the restaurant name.
