Red curry chicken is just average, lacks flavour. The green curry here tasted much better.
Nakhon has several outlets sprinkled around Singapore. I only patronize this outlet because it's the nearest to home. Reached around 6+ and it was full and there was a queue of over 15 pax before me. Total wait time from queue to arrival of food was about an hour. No reservations accepted. Definitely not for hangry people!
I always order the same dishes- grilled pork, honey chicken, green curry chicken, clear tomyum soup. Mains range between $6-8, more if you're ordering seafood. Not seen in pic is a bowl of rice and fried beehoon. They serve free flow lukewarm water if you do not feel like spending half a main dish worth ($3) on Thai ice tea.
Total damage was $33. Same price as the asahi tower from the restaurant across Nakhon. Lol.

The food here is quite affordable and good for date nights! The Tom yam thick soup is super good and it only costs $6! The phad Thai was a little blend but the green curry and Thai milk tea made up for it! Overall experience was good!
one of the best green curry i ever tasted. majority of the food is spicy but very shiok. prices are relatively cheap but for me the portions are quite small. will def come back there!

Finally got to try this thai food after talking so long abt it from @shermaiine hao giao siao~ the tomyum soup & green curry are their must try!! Worth the q-ing! Portion kinda small but its cheaper than other places.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I love the green curry here! But still, my all-time favourite is the pandan leaf chicken: egg and chicken wrapped in the pandan leaf and grilled to perfection.
Another hidden gem offering affordable Thai food! Here we have tom yam seafood, minced beef with basil leaves, and green curry chicken. Everything had the right amount of Thai element in it, yet wasn't too spicy! The staffs weren't exactly very friendly, but they did their job sufficiently so who cares. 😂
