Portion was huge!!! Easily meant for two with an estimated 400-500gm of meat. The Rendang was extremely lemak, not overly pedas. The kuar was aromatic, with a blend of herb and roasted spices that was umami to the Max. The meat itself, while tender, was too coarse, and unfortunately, could do with a lot more marination and preparation rather than to solely depend on the kuar. Roti Jala, or Roti Kirai, had the right texture, but any hint of coconut fragrance was completely overshadowed by the kuar. Came with a side salad and two quail eggs with sambal. With all the dense jelatness, it really needed a citrus or higher note to balance it out - a salad with citrus dressing or achar would have done the job.
This. Is. The. Most. Expensive. Dish. I've. Bought. This plate right here cost me $35. Its a huge portion, you have to share 2-3 pax and silly me bought it just for myself. The roti kirai is abit tasteless but the lamb is awesome! Superb tender and the sauce is rendang.

Came with parents, needed to wait for awhile because there were no seats as I didn't make reservation. The shop owner was very attentive and kept us in the loop.
Took the time to explain the menu. Went with roti kirai beef ribs. I must say this is the killer. The gravy is top of the list, the meat is soft and the roti kirai is a perfect combo.
We also ordered to ondeh ondeh cake, the taste was......
Beyond words can describe...🖒🖒🖒🖒 The owner even gave us another durian cake out of his goodwill for the long waiting time for the cake. The ondeh ondeh cake was rich with sweetness and it came with an ice cream which compliments the whole dessert.
Upon payment, owner gave another free cake..
I'm like.. woooahh!! Unbelievable, customer service at its best. Filling up of ice water at our table was done quick. Each staff member was courteous which enhances the whole experience.

Came here for dinner and ordered the Smoked Duck Chili Padi Pasta and Beef Ribs Roti Kirai. The food was excellent and the portions were huge, so I suggest small eaters beware. We made the mistake of ordering too much and in the end did not have space for desserts. We were gifted with a complimentary ondeh ondeh cupcake to go however and that too tasted awesome. Overall, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly so I hightly recommend this place.

I also liked the salted egg soft shell crab linguine - great flavour but it's a bit on the dry side and could be quite jelat. All the main courses are in big portions for sharing with friends.
Misses:The truffle fries were too keras (crispy) for us albeit the generous truffle taste. Macham eating jagabee..? Great place for hangouts but do make reservation to avoid disappointment.
