Finally got some time to check out Casa's pizza 🍕 offerings. They have this good deal of 12' pizza served with garlic bread, salad and soft drinks (or wine or beer) for 2 at Rs.2000+. Since I was with a vegetarian friend, went for the vegetarian pizza with half & half option. One half was Quatro Stragioni (tomato 🍅 + artichoke + olives + mushrooms etc.). I can't remember the name of the other half. It was OK. Very thin crust though. Refreshing addition to their menu.
Part of the Zaza bar menu (which can be ordered at T-republic too). One of the few vegetarian options and it's pretty good. Casa has never disappointed me with food and ambiance. 5-7pm is happy hours, and there's a buy one get one free offer for food items, which is great! (Rs.450 for this dish)
I know, the Kottu you get at a wayside hotel is large in portion & more spicy. But Casa Kottu isn't bad. Loved the prawns!
The last time I had the Chicken Lollipops was at Hazari's Food on Fire. This is much better than that. And the sauce is real value for the dish.
Slow-Roasted Beef Fillet in Spiced Jaggery Sauce with Green Asparagus & Garlic Rice. A new addition to the Casa's HVN menu. One of my favorite at the place. The beef was cooked just right.
The name says it all. Add some nuts & a cherry. One terrific dessert! :)
