Quirky space with wooden chairs hanging from above, @brotherbababudan is a specialty coffee place located just a stone's throw away from Emporium Melbourne. Sipping a cup of their Flat White (AUD 4.50) before traveling around chilly Melbourne is a bliss!

Perhaps it’s because I had my very first cuppa in Melbourne here, Brother Baba Budan holds a very special place in my heart. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, from their espresso-based drinks to their filters and non-coffee beverages, and I’ll say with 100% certainty that you’ll never have anything short of a bad drink here. Espresso-wise they make a very balanced brew that has a higher level of acidity than most back home, but slightly bolder than those around the area. So you can be sure your white coffees still carries loads of character and flavour.

Coffee Culture in Melbourne is like religion.. everyone follows his or her own favourite beans,cafe,shots and folks to share a cuppa with.
Seven seeds cold brew had a fruity non acidic tone to it and was surprisingly refreshing.

Good cuppa, but I'm no coffee connoisseur so I can't comment on its intensity/notes/roast etc. Price is on the higher end considering you can get one at other places for less than $4. Maybe not a huge price difference to some, but I feel like I've had better coffee elsewhere anyway (though the crowd inside will def disagree).
Ambience was great; you can tell everyone is serious about coffee here when they don't sell anything else besides a few pastries and the place was completely bustling in the morning!
