Nice? It’s not that bad. Worth it? Definitely no. Starting at £4.50 for the vegetarian daikon bao, this pictured is the most expensive fried chicken bao at £5.50. I definitely can get more bang for the buck with that quantity and amount paid.

Topped off with a Szechuan vinegar dressing, it was the perfect way to start the meal. Next was the trotter nuggets, it was interesting, it's like having the best of a pig trotter, deep frying it and a sprinkle of Himalayan salt. It was a spectacle. Loved my pork bun, it was moist and really tasty. The fried chicken bun could have been more chicken and less batter. Rounded off the meal with their deep fried bun with Horlicks ice cream. You can't go wrong with ice cream in between 2 fried buns. This meal cost us £78 for 5 people with drinks. Which I found abit pricey. All in all, I would recommend this place for a pre-theatre meal or supper with with your mates. Full review will be out on our site soon. #bao #london #queue #dinner @bao_london

We were at Bao, one of the most talked about places for dinner yesterday night. We practically queued for 1.5hrs in the cold before we were allowed in, and mind you, there was still a steady stream of people queuing up after us. Excited, we started ordering, the menu was simple, and easy to understand. And some of their items were not available already, was pretty bumped. So if you would like a full selection from their menu, male sure you queue up before they start their dinner service at 5.30pm. @bao_london #bao #london #queue #winter #dinner
