After You Dessert Café (Silom Complex)

Being cooped up in the hotel room for almost eight hours, the anticipation and excitement of finally able to head out for food is beyond happiness. As the priority was to get to After You before it closes, we ditched all dinner plans and went straight to the café, ordered the Thai Tea Kakigori and the signature Shibuya Honey Toast. The pure joy and elation from the first bite are beyond words can describe as we have waited more than two years before we can finally have it again. Being the only few tourists at that time, After You is still drawing in the crowd from the locals, which is a testament to its popularity and quality. This is always a must stopover for any Bangkok trip.

...to After You, because it's been over half a year and yet I still cannot forget the taste of these beauties. Crispy on the outside, yet soft and gooey on the inside. Especially when you pour over that honey, dab some of that melted cold ice-cream goodness over that thick toast... man do i need this right now.

A crispy, buttery and soft toast, slathered with Nutella and topped with ice cream. Expect a caramalized aftertaste to linger in your mouth......... Mmmmm

A must have when you come to Bangkok. Though extremely sinful and detrimental to your diet, the fluffy pieces of toast with the drizzled honey and vanilla ice cream prove to be a winning formula. Had this three times during my trip!
