Food has been consistently good here! Recently back to fuel plus for their delicious food items after some time and I'm happy to report that it's still as good as ever! The Croffle & Truffle Mushroom ($19) was a total pleasure to have. The moment you have a thick rich truffle sauce and mushrooms, you know there's gonna be loads of umami. The scrambled eggs was done just right, and the Croffle was fluffy, almost like a roti prata! Next we have the Pesto Eggs with Cajun Shrimp ($20), and being a pesto lover, this was very decent. The pesto eggs were done just right, and complemented well with their homemade sourdough. The shrimps were well grilled, and had a strong smoky flavour which was much appreciated. Lastly we have the Grilled Seabass (~$25 with side and drink), which was very fresh and well seasoned and grilled. Each piece was very sweet and flaky, and the mashed potato was wonderfully creamy. The truffle tator tots as the side were highly addictive, due to its very crispy exterior. Definitely no complaints with all the dishes we had, maybe just the long waiting time we had to endure before getting all our food. I'm guessing they might have a shortage of kitchen staff or just not used to large group orders! What's even better is that you can use #burpplebeyond for 30% off their food items! Will be back 😍

Chinese cuisine!!!! The si zi dou is quite average, I quite like the mapo tofu dish too. The xlb is also average. Remember to plan your burpple deal usage properly. The staff are quite nice too and there was complementary dessert.

Chinese cuisine!!!! Wanted to have some Chinese food. The dishes here are a good localised version of Chinese cuisine cause it’s not very spicy. We really like the shredded pork here, better than other place version. The la zi ji was also quite generous. The suan la yu was average but decent anount of fish.

Authentic Sichuan Cuisine at Shu Yan Sichuan Cuisine at Chinatown point! - 辣子鸡: Everyone's favourite sichuan dish! Crispy battered chicken! -沸腾鱼: This was our first time trying this "Boiled fish fillet in spicy oil" and we were pretty impressed! We requested for less spicy, and the spice level was tolerable for us! There is thick vermicelli in the soup too, which tastes like suan la fen to me! Sliced fish fillet was fresh! -石锅豆花肥牛: This arrived in a bubbling stonepot! The dish surprised us. We love it so much! Tender meat slices with silken tofu in very aromatic and fragrant green peppercorn broth! Drizzle the broth over your rice and it is comfort food! The default is sliced beef (but if you require, you can ask the staff to change it to pork) -Iced Lychee Tea and Peach Tea: Their drinks here come with the fruit (lychee/peach) and chewy bubble tea pearls too! -Chilled Starch Jelly 自制冰粉: End off the spicy numbing meal with some refreshing cooling desserts! Had a bad experience but they can be better Yet another bad experience 😥 We went to Thirteen BBQ Bar in search of good Chinese BBQ but they just fell short of expectations... Firstly, there was alot of confusion. Confusion in making the order between us and the waiter, and confusion in the kitchen in executing those orders. Food went to the wrong tables and some items didn't come. I tried to tell them our rice didn't come but they ended up double charging for the rice when the bill came 🥲 Secondly, food was just churning out too slowly. The food items came out with too long intervals and we were mostly waiting. We ended up frustrated and told the waiter to pack the rest of the unfinished orders to go. Saw another table that did the same too... Thirdly, the food was mostly mediocre. The skewers were really small and tough. Only the fried noodles ($8) was worth a mention. The noodles had a good texture, it was flavourful and well stir-fried due to the slight smoky aroma in the noodles. The staff were indeed apologetic, but I think there is really a need to relook at their processes. They have the potential to be better!

Rigatoni and risotto Tried their signature rigatoni and mushroom risotto. Portions are small and the taste isn’t great. Food was tad salty too. For the price, would say it’s pretty pricey too. But service was good.

Smoked Beef Cheek Ragu ($28)

Signature Rigatoni ($30) consisted of aged brandy cream (sauce) cooked inside, pancetta (salt-cured pork belly meat), mushroom, egg yolk and topped with parmigiano reggiano (cheese). I felt that it's such an atas and great experience for myself and my friend to dine in for restaurant specially for pasta. I did redeemed with burpple 1 for 1 pasta menu. The pasta was not that hard or soft texture (al dente). I did broke egg yolk off and mixed well with the rest of ingredients. After mixing well together, my first few tries were got that strong wine taste initially but slowly got salty aftertaste bc probably of pancetta. I felt a bit jelak towards the end of the meal.

Good burpple deal Love this place cause it’s a legit burpple deal. And the food quality is good. Love coming here to chill and hang out with friends. Their happy hour promotions are also pretty good!

Good food, even better service Went for the 20 sticks deal with 20 free sticks so total 40 sticks. Staff was super attentive and friendly, amazing team that is on the ball and delightful. Food is great, liked the different seasoning options. Ordered 2 Highball for $15 (happy hour). Thank you!

Service is good, staff patiently explained the deal and answered all our queries well. Food is good, has a warmer provided that kept our food hot for >1h. Happy hour for drinks till 8pm is a bonus! Frozen Kirin / Guinness / Highball . Recommended to reserve seat, especially during fri/weekend. 40 sticks total was a little too much for 2 pax, but staff offered to take away the remaining that we couldnt finish.

Argentinian Prawn | $26 This was a dollar more expensive than the birria, but I’d get this any day over the latter. Though not the kind of cheesy goodness you’ll get with a birria taco, this was refreshing and delightful. The Argentinian garlic prawns was grilled to perfection to give that slight Smokey flavour, not withstanding them being huge and fresh. The combination of Thai mango salad and cilantro gave an appetising boost to every bite. The chipotle mayonnaise added that slight creaminess and light spice to it, and they all the elements added up together very well. That being said, it’s more worth it at Lavi Taco’s if you use the burpple deal since it guarantees you some discount, though it also presents some limitations in flavours - such as not being able to go for this dish, and timings that you can eat there. Masala Lamb Birria | $25 For 2 pieces and pretty little stew by the side my first thought was how unaffordable it was. The masala lamb deep fried taco was not as oily as I’d expected, but the gaminess of the lamb was much more overpowering, to the point the masala felt like a little tingle. In fact, when you dip the taco into the birria, it’s unlikely that you’d get much masala flavour. Cheesy with a decent amount of meat, but, I would go for the other tacos instead. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Gather Round While @kazoku_japanese_cuisine has mad decent Japanese food, ToGather, the foodcourt it’s housed in, has its mad decent Happy Hours (emphasis on the S) deals for their five beers on tap. Of course, I was never gonna resist the absolute allure of Erdinger on tap, and I got my pint at the rather reasonable price of just $11.90.⠀ ⠀ If your beer tastes have an Asian persuasion, a frosty pint of Asahi Black will set you back by $11.90 at happy hour too. Speaking of happy hours, ToGather’s Happy Hours run from 1100-2000, which is basically an open dare to day-drink. As far as I recall, Happy Hours are on everyday, so if you’re a barely functional alcoholic like me, you can get smashed off cheap beers everyday.⠀ ⠀ But what happens when your clock reads 20:01? That’s where #burpplebeyond comes in. That’s right, the undisputed GOAT of one-for-one deals has a one-for-one draft beer deal at ToGather too! Now, if that ain’t yet another reason to gather at ToGather, I don’t know what is.

Beef Burger Nice brioche bun and fries! Opt for double patty or add ons for more shiokness

Aburi mentai salmon ($28), shrooms wagyu burg ($25) +$2 for the mentai, generous portion. Salmon was grilled to perfection, tender w crispy skin. Meat was thick too. Free sides only include green salad & fries under Burpple deals. Wagyu beef was juicy.

overall a good burpple deal🍔🍟 fries (+$2 change to sweet potato fries) were really crispy and the burger was damn substantial, though the bacon made it too salty🥓 and the Wagyu patty could use more seasoning. but i really liked the sauce in the burger and the buttered buns were toasted well! i got the Pin Bunker ($26) which was literally spilling cheese😍🧀🤤 and came with even MORE (nacho) cheese on the side. ambience was nice too (only in the day because it's beside Ark11😀)

Traditional poh piah Soft poh piah skin wrap and tasty filling. It’s small like most poh piahs and worth it with Burpple 1-for-1 deal. 👍

Tomato basil soup This soup is very tasty and tangy! Love it!
