So sad to see such a bad start for a famed chef - the restaurant suffers from all around lack creativity. Meat dishes are the worst - chicken rice is something hard to fail but they succeeded in making it taste worse than $6 hawker fare. Bak kut teh porkchop was so dry and tasteless and the 'compressed' watermelon is just a fancy way of saying lukewarm, flavoless piece of watermelon. Ribeye ($58!!) was no more than a thin slab of mediocre beef. Starters were a bit better but a small plate of hamachi for $28?? Not sure if it was worth it. Service is still very much non-existent (please train your staff so they know what are offered on the menu). Drinks are awful too. What a waste.
