Even though the app says the burple beyond deals are until 30 Sep 2023, when I went yesterday on 22 Jun 2022, they told me they no longer offer 1-for-1. It is not stated anywhere at all that they no longer offer burple beyond deals. What a smart way to get customers to come all the way thinking there is 1-for-1 and end up paying more. It is very pricey for very small portions. The mains are around 30-50 bucks each. Some are delicious (octopus risotto), but the others were so-so. The decor is cute, but the ambiance was ruined last night due to a very rowdy and drunk group. I would not recommend coming here, and I won't be returning as well.
The food is very delicious, inexpensive, and you can choose your seasoning: sweet korean, chinese cumin (🌶) or asia spicy(🌶🌶🌶). The place is not stuffy, it is not crowded and staff are very polite. I am surprised there aren't more people here. That being said, they have limited choices, but all their skewers and dishes taste wonderful. I strongly recommend their eggplant dish! They also provide plain water for free. Their alcohol is quite reasonably priced too.
Very interesting flavour combinations that work well together. We ordered the garlic snowing pizza which we loved, but it's not for mayonnaise haters. We also had the garlic ragu pasta which was very delicious but portion seems a bit small. We finally ordered the hotteok for dessert, which was so-so. The food is quite expensive here, but with the Burple Beyond, it's a bit more reasonable. We loved the mains though! Overall, give this place 7/10.
We ordered the salmon with asparagus in mushcroom cream sauce, squid ink pasta in tomato sauce, truffle fries and 3 pints of craft beer. I liked the lychee lassie, my friend liked the vanilla cream. Food is amazing as usual, and the place has excellent music and a quiet atmosphere. They use some kind of fragrance that reminds me of a luxury hotel lobby. I used the burple beyond premium and my meal was quite reasonably priced at about 50 bucks per person including alcohol. Food was prepared very fast. I cannot wait for my 3rd visit already.
